Matt Gordon, CPA : Founder and Co - CEO

Prior to co-founding MasterPlan Advisors, Matt spent nearly five years in public accounting with Deloitte. While there, he performed audit, assurance, and accounting advisory services for the financial services industry, with a primary focus on hedge fund and private equity clients.

Matt brings a powerful background in financial processes, internal controls, and reporting to the MasterPlan Advisors team and our clients. He applies the discipline of the high-finance world to the skilled trades, helping contractors implement robust systems that prevent profit leakage and provide the crystal-clear financial data needed for strategic growth.

Matt is a CPA licensed in the state of New Jersey and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He attended James Madison University, where he obtained both his Bachelor of Business Administration degree and his Master of Science in Accounting.

When he isn’t working, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and cheering on the New York Mets and Jets.
